Well suited for stationary dance styles and younger dancers, the Small Board is a perfect solution for large socially distant classes. They store well, and travel well (I’ve fit 30 in my car which I think is pretty cool), and just like any board from here will give you a beautiful sound.
Each board is made with cabinet-grade birch plywood, with a smooth urethane finish. They are semi-sprung dance floors on a 2-layer 18in. lattice, supported with repurposed bike tire grips donated from Working Bikes Chicago. The grips are installed at tension points, helping to dampen bounce, and providing stability and comfort for whatever surface you choose to set it on. By default, the underside is painted black for a low profile in stage transitions.
