This is my personal favorite model. The Gig Board is a solid medium size piece. Not too big to carry, but with some room to really dance. This is ideal for dancers taking the stage with a live band. Take it to jams, use it at home. This is your baby, baby.
Each board is made with cabinet-grade birch plywood, with a smooth polyurethane finish. They are semi-sprung dance floors on a 2-layer 18in. lattice, supported with repurposed bike tires donated from Working Bikes Chicago. The tires are installed at tension points, helping to dampen bounce, and providing grip for whatever surface you choose to set it on. The underside is painted black for a low profile in stage transitions.
